Dear minimalist readership,

You could be forgiven for assuming that artist Jee Young Lee was one talented user of Photoshop upon seeing her portfolio ‘Stage of Mind’. However each of these mystical landscapes has been painstakingly created by the artist by hand.

Resurrection

Lee creates these landscapes in her small Korean studio space (a mere 360x410x240 cm room) with each image taking weeks, sometimes months to create. Each image is a self portrait and the artist can be found in each immaculate scene. Lee’s work will be making it’s first European appearance at the OPIOM gallery in Opio, France early next year from 7th February to 7th March.

Here’s an interesting one for those of you that like a good problem to solve. Below is an image of an injection moulded Lego piece(s) which is currently available. When a friend showed me this piece of Lego, I have to say I was initially stumped as to ‘how do they make that’?
